Finally, I started documenting the recent incident happened where the warehouse deals sent was totally different item than what was ordered. In the illustration below was declared as expected to be “used but still like new” and it should come in the original package but clearly this item is obviously different than the one customer ordered. Worse thing of all is that the product box has a sticker says “AMAZON Warehouse Inspected”.


3. Customer service phone number is not disclose
Unless you picked the item you already bought, there is a never-ending loop to try to get to their customer service Toll Free number. Although the reason is clearly to eliminate unnecessary and less important customers interaction.

4. Unable to hold items
There is no way of putting items on hold. Unlike Rona, Canadian Tire and Walmart, customers are given a time period to hold their selected items so that they can avail their preferred product at its current price.
5. Does not disclose the real-time inventory count
For most customers that are on budget, especially smart shoppers that do intensive research way before they decided to buy, good luck if you can get a chance to get your hands on hot deals. By not disclosing the real-time inventory count, chances of missing these great deals are high. Although, some products would show the count but not consistent to all.

- Put extra effort on making sure that product descriptions are accurately reviewed prior to publishing to eliminate confusion from the customer side and the impact it will bring on warehouse and shipping upon return. This will result to waste of time and money loss. I have talked to the customer service about it as soon as I received the item on the 3rd of April 2023 but until now, the same wrong description is being advertised.
- Company needed to focus on the warehouse staff needs, maybe over-working them affects their interest in accomplishing their task. It could even be a lack of compensation that make them loose their interest on caring for their job or perhaps an extra supervision and training is required. If these recommendation are not effective, discontinue of reselling returned item would be a simple solution.
- It is important to have a Toll Free number visible and available in every website. It is a number one factor to show not even to repeating customers but also or most especially to new customer that are testing what company has to offer in terms of customer service.
- Giving customer a chance to hold the product at a certain period of time will give a significant impact on revenue. This will represent how many buyers demand for a certain product. Also seller would have a proper estimate of how much more they have to order.
- It will be more convenient for consumers to know the exact inventory so they can have a chance to make a proper decision when to buy.
